Short-term Sensory Store

短期感覺儲存（Short-term Sensory Store）位於整個記憶系統的最外圍，專責儲存刺激辨別階段的結果，可同時處理大量的感覺信息，但流失率極快，最長只為 1/4 秒，而且會不斷被新接收的信息取代；不過部分信息會被選擇性注意力機制（selective attention）保留，作進一步的處理。
